I am a behavioural ecologist. More specifically, my research interests lie in the fields of animal behaviour, decision rules, rationality, mate choice, sexual selection, foraging strategy, animal personality, cognitive bias and emotion. So far, I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of species: insects (honeybee, ants, carabids, Tenebrio), amphipod (Gammarux pulex), fish (convict cichlid), and bird (Zenaida dove). In addition to this experimental work, I indulge myself in theoretical approaches. From a taxonomic viewpoint, my favourite species of models are related to game theory, dynamical systems, and individual based simulations. Finally, I am also interested in statistical methodology.
